Help a Child Start the School Year Strong

Change A Child Outreach is committed to serving our community and showing the love of God through practical acts of kindness by helping students start the school year prepared, confident, and supported. Each year, many families face the challenge of purchasing backpacks and school supplies, and through our Annual Backpack Giveaway we work to help lighten that burden and encourage students as they begin a new school year. Last year, with the help of generous supporters and volunteers, we provided 300 backpacks filled with essential supplies to children in our community, and as we prepare for our 8th Annual Backpack Giveaway, our goal is to reach even more students than ever before. It costs $45 to provide one fully stocked backpack, and every donation helps place another backpack into the hands of a child in need each one representing not just supplies, but encouragement, opportunity, and the love of Christ. With your support, we can continue growing this outreach and make a lasting difference, one backpack at a time.
